The Pecos Bill Tall Tale Cafe - Counter Service BBQ

The Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is a popular counter service option in Disney’s Magic Kingdom which always seems to satisfy. Sure, you can get a burger just about anywhere in the park. Maybe it’s the huge Fixin’s Bar, or maybe it is just the cool atmosphere. But for whatever reason, it always seems to me that Pecos Bill makes its burger a little better than the rest. Welcome to the Wild, Wild West It is no secret that a big part of a counter service restaurant’s success is how well its theme blends with that of the park. Or in this case, the Frontierland section of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Themed after a wild west inn and saloon, the restaurant pays

Review: Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

The first time we saw it, we couldn’t believe our eyes. “We’re staying here?” My wife and I chose the Grand Floridian at Disney World for our honeymoon in 1997. We knew it was a beautiful resort, but nothing could prepare us for the incredible Victorian architecture towering over us as we arrived on site. From that moment on, the Grand Floridian has never failed to take my breath away. We were treated wonderfully by the cast members of this resort. I don’t think we will ever forget how welcome they made us feel, or how many surprise gifts we found waiting for us in our room every night. Disney cast members are known for being friendly and courteous, but nobody has ever made us

Is the step up in price worth it? Today we compare the top two WDW resort tiers. It probably won’t surprise you to learn that there is no definitive answer to the Moderate versus Deluxe debate. Both property tiers offer nice grounds, and the full Disney experience. The Deluxe resorts take luxury to the max, but not without a huge increase in price. Whether the price differential is

We Still Love The Haunted Mansion

For me, it just isn’t a Disney trip without a visit to the Haunted Mansion. I grew up with an affinity toward scary movies and monsters. And I love a good haunted house. Sure this is all safe family fun, and none but the youngest guests will be alarmed. But the Haunted Mansion is a feast of sight and sound, a true Disney classic just as much as their early animation movies. It may not have the rush of adrenaline that Tower of Terror has, or the excitement of Soarin’. But it remains a top attraction becomes it is so darn lovable. The Haunted Mansion opened first in Disneyland on August 9, 1969 in New Orleans Square. On October 1, 1971, the famous attraction became
