Living With The Land - Genetically Modified?

Inside The Land Pavilion of Disney World’s Epcot Center is Living With The Land, a boat ride through the history of farming and the future of efficient agriculture. The boat ride has long been one of my favorite underrated attractions of Disney World. But over the years, I have become increasingly concerned of the ride’s promotion of genetically modified food production. There was a time when wait lines for Living With The Land were much shorter. The Green Thumb of Epcot

When some people think of Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center, they think of progress and planning for the future. Others think about the cultural diversity of the World Showcase. And still others think of flagship attractions such as Soarin’, Mission to Mars, and Test Track. When I visit Epcot Center, one of the first things which always catches my eye is the incredible landscaping. Beautiful deep greens complimented by splashes of warmth from flowers, framed by a tropical blue sky. There is some serious agriculture and horticulture going on here.
